Breakfast Program

The school district will be applying to the State Education Department to extend, through the 2009/2010 school year, the current wavier from participating in the subsidized Breakfast Program.

Milk Alternative

We have added 100% orange, fruit punch, apple, and grape juices to the beverage menu. These items are approved by the State and can be substituted for the milk when purchasing a lunch. Juices are also available a la carte.
 

Update for 2009-10

East Meadow's new food service director, Barbara Stabile, is a certified dietary manager who brings years of food service experience to our students and staff. In the coming school year, she will implement food programs provided by ARAMARK, East Meadow's food service partner. Ms. Stabile intends to create balanced meals and promote nutritional education.
