The W.T. Clarke High School DECA club returned from the state competition in March holding another chapter record, as 22 students qualified to compete at the national competition. This next event will take place at the International Career Development Conference in Orlando, Florida on April 27.

The top 4/5 finishes are the most in the chapter’s history as the students earned top 10 and ICDC honors in categories including buying and merchandising operations, integrated marketing campaigns, financial consulting and more. Additionally, junior Abishek Ravindran was voted by his peers to become the 2019-20 New York State DECA Vice President of Finance.

“I could not be prouder of these passionate and amazing young men and women,” said DECA advisor Joseph Pavia. “Their academic prowess and professionalism make me grateful to be part of this club.”
